Artists of the World Condemns the Mistreatment of Miss Mexico in Thailand
From Artists of the World and its Founder and President, Dr. Alejandro Rudler, we express our deep concern and indignation over the disrespectful treatment suffered by Fátima Bosch, Miss Universe Mexico 2025, during a pre–pageant event in Thailand.
This incident, which quickly drew international attention, was not only a personal offense to her as a woman and professional, but also a lack of respect toward all the contestants who proudly represent cultural diversity, talent, and female empowerment on the global stage.
During the ceremony, the executive in charge, Nawat Itsaragrisil, publicly referred to Fátima Bosch in an offensive manner, calling her “dumb” in front of her fellow contestants, and shortly thereafter ordered her removal from the venue by security staff.
The situation immediately sparked a wave of solidarity, as several participants — including the reigning Miss Universe — walked out in protest against such unacceptable behavior.
Incidents like this violate the very principles of respect, inclusion, and dignity that should guide every international competition. Beyond this specific episode, the message it sends is alarming: humiliation and mistreatment have no place in spaces meant to celebrate beauty, culture, and global representation.
At Artists of the World, we reaffirm our full support for Fátima Bosch and for every woman who, like her, stands up for her voice and identity on international platforms.
True greatness lies in uplifting and respecting others, not in belittling or silencing them.
Art, culture, and beauty must remain symbols of unity, inspiration, and dignity.
May this episode serve as a reminder that every act of representation deserves respect — never contempt.
