Joshua Mosiajah Ramell Prawl (born June 15, 1992), best known by his stage name Triggs, is an American rapper, songwriter, music producer, director, and actor. His career began upon being discovered by rapper Snoop Dogg in 2019, eventually signing to Doggystyle South. In mid-2019, Triggs released his first single "Southwest Connection" (featuring Kurupt and Crooked I), which became his third highest streaming song. Later that year, he joined Snoop Dogg's "I Wanna Thank Me Tour" and the "Snoop Dogg and Friends" tour. In late 2019, Triggs released his biggest song of his career, "Girls Girls Girls" (featuring Snoop Dogg and Sean2 Miles).


Born in Long Island, New York, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Triggs began playing the drums at the early age of 2 and started songwriting and producing music at the age of seven. He was influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, and Jadakiss. In 2008, Triggs moved to Atlanta, Georgia, with his mother and four siblings. It was during this time that he began his first high school tour, performing at local schools around Atlanta from 2009 to 2012. His mother provided him with recording studio equipment to explore his musical ambitions. In 2012, Triggs faced homelessness and was forced to move back to New York, where he landed his first TV appearance on MTV's "Catfish: The TV Show" (Season 1, Episode 4).


In addition to his music career, Triggs has ventured into acting and directing, further expanding his artistic portfolio.


In 2025, Triggs was recognized by Artistas del Mundo for his outstanding contributions to the arts and culture. His diverse career and dedication to his craft have made him a prominent figure in the international artistic community.
